Hi ladies and gents!
 Let me begin by saying that I had the greatest time doing the session I'm about to post. This was the first time I've worked with these two little cuties and I enjoyed every minute of it.  Aviry & Alexia are sisters and I have known their mom for a very long time.  When her name popped up as my "700 likes" contest winner on facebook back at the beginning of the year I was so excited and I have been anxiously waiting for this session to take place.  These two little ladies are so adorable and sweet I could have snapped photos with them all day.  And since mom was there we had to sneak in a few shots of just the girls for dad to proudly show off - because these girls are beautiful!

Welcome back! 
On the blog today are the adorable cousin's Leland and Hudson.  Leland is 6 months and Hudson is 4 months, but you can already tell they are going to be best buds and maybe cause a little trouble here and there :-)  The boys were great during the photo shoot and beyond cute, but they had their game faces on 90% of the time.  You would think between 5 adults someone could get a smile out of them, but it proved WAY more difficult than you would think.   We did manage to get a few, but never at the same time...we all thought is was pretty funny, but the boys were not amused :-)  Oh well, when you are this cute who needs to smile!

Howdy! 
We have yet another handsome senior on the blog.  I am pleased to introduce to you, Andy!  As always - this session was a blast, I truly love what I do.  However, Andy added a little twist that usually doesn't take place during my senior sessions.  He is very involved in the band at Breckenridge High School and brought his guitar and trombone along for a unique touch.  I LOVE the fact he wanted to include them because it really personalized his senior session!  You will see some examples below :-)  After high school he plans to start a band and play for a few years and it that does not pan out - join the military.  This kid has plans and I know he will be very successful in whatever he does.  Best of luck in your future, Andy!

Hello Again!

Today I want you to meet Ryan - a senior at Hemlock High School.  This handsome young man was such a breeze to work with and was so nice.  He tolerated my "last picture" syndrome (which really means probably 2 more stops before the session is over) very well and was such a good sport.  Ryan was very laid-back and comfortable in front of the camera and boy can he pull off a serious/intimidating look!  Must be all that practice from years of playing football :-)  Best of luck during your senior year and in your future, Ryan.  I know it will be a bright one!

Hello All! 
I have a treat for you today - Jackson and his one year session complete with cake!  Jackson was part of my grow with me package and I must say I am sad that I won't be seeing him again in 3 months.  I have enjoyed watching this little guy grow up over the past year and all the laughs we have had during his sessions.  Jackson is always full of smiles, personality, and adventure which made our sessions so much fun - although he did show me his serious side for the first time during our one year session.  However, that was short lived and he was right back to his giggles and usual self in no time.   And when it was time for the cake he dug right in....and destroyed it.  There was very little interest in actually eating it because smashing and throwing it was WAY more fun :-)

So we meet again, dear blog readers!

Let me begin by saying that I had the greatest time doing the session I'm about to post. This was the first time I've worked with this family and I savored every minute of it - kinda hard not to when the subject is so adorable, happy, and carefree!

The main focus of this session was none other than the adorable 6 month old Holden!  But don't worry - we did grab some pictures with mom and dad too.  This little guy was full of funny faces, poses, and personality.  He was so cooperative during the shoot I could have hung around for hours, but I'm not sure he would have been up for it because he got bored with me at one point (see below).  I must have stopped making funny noises :-)

Okay, moving on to what you've been waiting for. For your viewing pleasure, pictures of Holden!

Well hi again, everyone!

Let's give it up for one special couple, who just so happen to be newlyweds. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Miller!

I absolutely loved photographing Katie and Shawn's wedding on a beautiful August afternoon - in Traverse City no less.  

 I have known Katie for several years and she is the sweetest person ever!  I finally got to meet Shawn for the first time (after hearing much about him for years from Katie) when I took their engagement photos last fall, and he is just as wonderful of a person as Katie is.  These two are beyond adorable together and are truly sole mates.  

  

Their wedding day was incredible and very personable.  You could see how close they are with family and friends by how intimate the ceremony and reception were!  I truly felt honored to be a part of their special day.
